Jefferson County Circuit Court Clerk

The Office of the Jefferson Circuit Court Clerk serves as the official custodian of felony records for the county. The office maintains comprehensive case files including indictments, motions, orders, and judgments. Staff can assist with locating records by case number or party name. The Archives and Records division handles requests for older case files.

The Circuit Court Clerk's main office is located at the Louis D. Brandeis Hall of Justice at 600 W. Jefferson Street in Louisville. The Judicial Center at 700 W. Jefferson Street provides additional services. The Archives division operates from the Old Jefferson County Jail Building at 514 W. Liberty Street, Suite 100.
